Bangladesh post office for the first time issue stamp commemorating Rajshahi-Dhaka (Joydevpur) direct train service on 14th August 2003.
Actual route is from Joydevpur to Rajshahi. A local train carry passenger from Dhaka to Joydevpur first and then the direct service from Joydevpur to Rajshai. This train service for the first time make a connection with north zone by train which make communication very easier than before. The stamp as well as FDC shows railroad and train. A circular shape first day cancellation shoes the railroad. |

| Both the regular stamps 20p Scott#237 and 1.00 Scott#241 issued for official use with overprint service in English have scott#.O40 and O44. These stamps were printed from former USSR. Later on these 2 regular stamps Scott#237 and Scott#241 were overprinted in Bengali language for official use. Error exist on both regular stamps.
