Maipokhari is one of the popular religious and tourist area, located in beautiful and attractive district Ham district of eastern Nepal. This place is taken as a Astha (a religious belief) center of Hindu, Buddhists and Kirant mandhup, Here especially at Baisakh Purwma and the day of Hariboddhiani Ekadasi (a special religious day) held Mela or Jatra where thousands of local and Indian religios persons and tourist do visit annually of this charming lake.
